Specialties Public Company Limited (PSP), a leading provider of integrated lubricant solutions, has announced a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Shenzhen Eco Atlas Technology Co., Ltd. (Eco Atlas), a comprehensive data center solution provider,<\/p>\n

and Evonik Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (Evonik), a global leader in specialty chemicals. The partnership aims to jointly research and develop\u00a0immersion cooling fluids<\/b>\u2014a next-generation cooling technology for data centers\u2014underscoring PSP\u2019s continued commitment to sustainable business.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sakesan Krongphanich<\/b>, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PSP, stated that one of the company\u2019s core business goals is to drive transformation toward comprehensive sustainability across all dimensions of the operations. As sustainability becomes a priority across industries\u2014including those that rely on cooling technologies such as manufacturing, electric vehicles, energy storage systems (ESS), and data centers.<\/p>\n

PSP is leveraging its deep expertise in the research, development, and production of coolants in formulating and manufacturing lubricants and specialty fluids to develop high performance, environmentally friendly coolant solutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis landmark collaboration is driven by a shared vision among all three partners\u2014PSP, Eco Atlas, and Evonik Oil Additives\u2014to promote highly efficient and eco-friendly cooling technologies. It offers significant energy savings and operational cost reductions while aligning with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and global carbon neutrality goals,\u201d said Mr. Sakesan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThailand is rapidly establishing itself as a strategic hub for data centers in the region, attracting strong interest from global industry leaders. Over the past three years, the country\u2019s data center sector has expanded by more than 50%. In 2024, the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) approved 37 data center projects,<\/p>\n

representing a total investment value exceeding THB 98.50 billion. This robust level of foreign investment highlights Thailand\u2019s solid economic fundamentals and reinforces its position as a promising destination for advanced digital infrastructure development.\u201d<\/p>\n
